Your World O God

Your World O God

I am a part of this world you created with your own hands O God .I saw your children drink tears to quench their thirst
and when hungry, I hear their silent moans
as they go without their share of morsel and sleep without a groan.

I saw magical changes in the face of the humans.
I saw lust shed its greed and take on the ascetic vow,
and I saw lifelong quest for truth
discarded all of a sudden
and drowned in the mire of lust.
I have seen the best of minds succumb to despair
and saw the triumph of  love  as well as  its doom .
A gardener is believed to be the guardian of the soil
but in your garden of Eden the buds are killed in infancy
I have seen the holy waters of the Ganga
now desecrated by sin
and debauchery masquerading , hiding behind a screen of smoke.
And I have seen the holy Ganga sad,
 and still straining
to cleanse humanity of age-long sorrows and life-long suffering
till she has nothing left for them, not even tears.
You, the creator of all, your ways of love defy the human understanding and we fail to see the Law that rules over it all.
My deep bow to you O God !
